WHO - Ford Mance Capital Advisors and Waddell and Reed sponsoring an event to raise money for the Friends of Cardiff and Carlsbad State Beaches, a new 501 3 C Non-Profit Organization formed to benefit popular North County San Diego area beaches and campgrounds and to support the volunteer and interpretive efforts of your local California State Parks and Beaches.
WHAT - Community, an art show featuring the art of Pete Tillack and John Mosely, the jazz band Mystery Flat on the beautiful deck at Chesterfield Mixed Use Building overlooking Cardiff Reef, fashion, food, wine, beer, beverages, and a raffle. Proceeds go to the Friends of Cardiff and Carlsbad State Beaches.
WHEN - Sunday, May 16 from 12pm to 4pm or ???
WHERE – 123 Chesterfield Drive in Cardiff. Located at the bottom of Chesterfield Drive next to the 7-11 and across the street from the Patagonia Surf Shop. Upstairs from Felicity Hair Salon and Nirvana Surfboards.
WHY – If you love the local Cardiff and Carlsbad State Beaches like we do, and would like to give back while having fun in a great location.
MISSION STATEMENT of Friends of Cardiff & Carlsbad State Beaches is working with California State Parks to protect and preserve Cardiff, San Elijo, South Carlsbad and Carlsbad State Beaches, Ponto and Tamarack. We do this through educational avenues that provide information about the natural, cultural, historical and biological diversity of the parks, while promoting environmental ethics and enhancing the recreational experiences of the visitors and citizens.
